Mixed Media

61x91cm

Part of the LOVE series, this mixed-media work pairs a finely drawn anatomical heart with bold, hand-painted red lettering. The contrast between the physical heart and the simplicity of the word LOVE explores the marks that relationships and experiences leave behind. Love Survives Heartache is about what remains after loss, disappointment or change — a reminder that while hearts may carry their scars, our capacity to love endures.
